Opponent stands from your closed guard
Opponent stands from your closed guard:
1. As they post with leg, underscoop. Wait till they put some weight on the leg, hip up to sweep.
2. If you miss that, go for the sickle sweep or the 3 post sweep.
3. If you don't have the grips for the sweep, kick out!
3a. Keep a grip with your left hand on their right sleeve
3b. Push them away with your feet at their hips.
3c. Keep distance with your left arm straight.
3d. Post with your right arm and swing your feet back.
3e. Posture up and jump guard again.

What to do if you pulled guard but they still stand
I pulled guard but they get hands on my hips and start shaking me down. I need to get double underhooks, drop legs down, and reap one of his legs and fall forward into halfguard top.

Leg Lasso
I've been trying to work on the leg lasso position. Here is a sweet sweep I want to try. I haven't seen it elsewhere so maybe it's a bs move. I'll workshop it in class today:

Javier School!
Javier took the time to show me a bunch of sweet moves:
From Closed Guard
1. Deep cross collar grip their left collar. Break them down. Lift up your left elbow to create a straight choke across their trachea. Reach around their head with your right arm and grab your left elbow material. Push down with your right arm and up with your right arm.
2. Arm triangle. Break them down. drag their right arm across your body. With your left arm hook around their head. Use a rear naked choke motion to finish.
Escaping the back
1. In turtle, they harness grip you and keep a little too high on your back. Hold the elbow opposite of where the opponent's body is. Tuck the arm in and roll towards your right shoulder. During the resulting scramble, take side control.
