Private lesson

Holy crap, I basically got a private lesson with oli and justin. learned so much i could feel knowledge seeping out my ears. and probably some blood.

Triangle setups from closed guard guard:

1. Grab opponents right sleeve with your right hand. Grip break with help from your left hand. Keeping the sleeve grip, bring your right arm around your head and pin their right arm under your head. Get an overwrap with your left arm and grab a cross collar grip with your left arm. you can now release the pin of the orm with your head. They can try to posture up but you can hold their head and keep the overwrap. when the try to post with their left arm, push it down with your right arm. Ladder your right leg over the arm and get a shoulder lock. Triangle from there.

2. Setup for this is closed guard and they have tight grips and good posture. Grab a cross collar grip with your left hand. get a sleeve grip on their left hand with your right hand. Open guard and hip way out - you want distance and hip to the left. You have 2 options from here.

2a. If their right elbow is held away from their body (is out), shoot your left leg inside and bridge up, catch their neck with your leg and triangle!

2b. If their right elbow is held in and tight, use your left knee and hit their right arm from the outside and push it down. Now ladder with your left leg to shoulder lock. triangle from there.

3. Leg lasso. Closed guard. double sleeve grip. Hip way out. wrap their right arm with your left leg. Push your left leg way in and keep the sleeve grip tight. pull them in. slide your right leg across their body and dig your arm under them to reach their inner right leg around the knee. dig your head in too. pull them in and sweep! Mount!
